Essay Lecture

On the last class of the Media Theory course, we've got to improvise our own lecture regarding our essay (here's mine in case you haven't read it). I've got the awesome opportunity to collab with Tim van Engelen. Next to the video we've made a presentation about Symphony and Story combined.

The point we were trying to make is that only explaining straight facts doesn't encourage your audience to take part of your narrative. Using storytelling combined with the Symphony apitude, your audience are more persuaded to listen to your story. It also makes your point more clear when using the right story.

By the looks of our classmates, they were very amused while watching this video. Which makes Tim and I pleased about the result of our lecture.

Video explaination

(Just to be sure we've spread the right message 😉)
Just to let y'all know

Many, many Canvas notifications were sent throughout the minor and we are grateful for that!

Quick creating

Time was of the essence. Some students had high expectations and made low-quality MVPs.

Trip to...

Our Seville-trip didn't happen because of the 'sponsor', which was a small let-down. Fortunately, Berlin was a blast 😀

Less is more

We are very proud of our comprehensive homework. However, reflections should be given greater emphasis in the portfolio.

Finish line

To end the video, we want to thank all the teachers and wish everyone the best of luck finishing this minor.

The song (De Staat - Me Time)

Me Time symbolizes stress levels students experienced during the minor. Also, taking 'me time' occasionally is important 😉
